Last Saturday my BFF threw a baby shower for us at Nathan’s parents’ house. I decided early on that I wanted it to be coed and more like a fun party to celebrate the baby than an actual baby shower. I’m pretty sure that’s exactly how it felt, so she definitely succeeded in getting the right vibe!
And beyond that, it was so much more than I ever could have envisioned or hoped for. The food was amazing,
The cake was gorgeous and really, really delicious!
There was a diaper cake,
and party favors,
and fun (never cheesy) games,
an adorable niece,
and nephew (somehow I managed to not get a picture of the oldest!).
He thought he won. He didn't.
There were also lots and lots of other lovely friends and family members that helped make the day so special! We are so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful, supportive people. Seriously, how awesome is my best friend?!
